Product Overview

In 1933, R. Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn, sixth Lubavitcher Robe, sent a discourse to the Jews living in the Soviet Union. The discourse discussed the self-sacrifice they would need to overcome the tremendous challenges they were facing.
In 1951, this discourse was published in New York by his son-in-law and successor, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, R. Menachem M. Schneerson.

At the Yud Beis Tammuz gathering that year, the Rebbe delivered his own discourse based on that of his father-in-law, elaborating how it is specifically during this last exile, with the overwhelming darkness that precedes Mashiach, that we have the power needed to not succumb to challenges. We can awaken our inner, powerful vigor, while at the same time be in a state of utter submission to G-d. When this level is reached, the challenging test vanishes as if it never existed.
